Watermelon Feta Salad

Stay hydrated this summer with this delicious watermelon salad! Watermelon is 92% water so it should come as no surprise that it will help you stay hydrated. Watermelon has other benefits as well making it a refreshing summer fruit. Lycopene found in watermelon has been studied for its anti-cancer benefits for some cancers including those of the digestive system.

Watermelon Feta Salad

Enjoy this healthy refreshing summer salad. The sweetness from the watermelon and the salt from the feta really brings everything together. The addition of mint is a refreshing option, you can also use fresh torn basil leaves.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon bite size pieces
  • 1/4 cup feta crumbled
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint chopped
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and drizzle with balsamic glaze. 

  2. Serve as a side dish or refreshing snack.
